ORDER

A communication dated 07.02.2025 has been produced before this Court today, which is addressed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, Adyar District, to the Regional Passport Officer, Anna Salai at Chennai, asking for the journey details of the 2nd contemnor.

2. It is rather surprising as to why such a letter is addressed when the police authorities were very much aware about the fact that the 2nd contemnor against whom an order of arrest had been ordered was landing at Delhi Airport on 05.02.2025.

3. The learned APP is directed to inform this Court as to the steps that the police authorities have taken to secure the 2nd contemnor at the Delhi Airport on 05.02.2025 and he is also directed to inform the Court as to the communications that they have had with the Airport Authorities at Delhi as well as the Delhi Police in this regard.

4. The documents and report shall be produced before this Court on 13.02.2025.
