O R D E R

This petition has been filed to amend the cause title of the respondent police as "The Inspector of Police, Peranamallur Police Station, Tiruvannamalai District (Crime No.49 of 2025)" instead of "Ambur Town Police Station, Vellore District" in Crl.M.P.No.11840 of 2025 in Crl.O.P.No.7717 of 2025 order dated 09.07.2025.

2. The petitioner herein was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 19.03.2025. The petitioner had not complied the conditions and came before this Court for extension of time. This Court also considered the request and granted extension of time but now it is found that cause title in the petition for extension of time was not properly stated by the petitioner herein. Therefore the present petition is filed for amendment of the cause-title.

3. This Court on considering the conduct of the petitioners herein, who have been wanted by the respondent police for offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 74, 351(3) of BNS, 2023, inspite of evading arrest and got 2/4

anticipatory bail not really interested in participating in the investigation and been protracting the investigation under one manner or another. Hence, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to entertain the petition for amendment.

4.Hence, this petition for amendment stands dismissed and the Anticipatory Bail earlier granted to the petitioners on 19.03.2025 stands cancelled.
