By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner herein has moved this petition seeking a No Objection Certificate for establishing a petroleum retail outlet, for which he has been awarded license by the first respondent. He had applied for necessary No Objection Certificate from the authorities concerned and he has now filed this petition seeking a direction to them to issue the same. 3.Mr.V.Anantha Natarajan, the learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent, and Mr.V.Manoharan, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 2 to 6.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader made a statement that the application for No Objection Certificate has been rejected vide proceedings dated 04.07.2023, and circulated a copy of the same. Since the petitioner is not seen to have been served with the copy, this Court perused the same and served that copy on the petitioner.

5.In view of this development, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed accordingly. No Costs. 15.09.2023 Anu Index : Yes / No To.
