O R D E R

(Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.) The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.29937 of 2018 dated 14.11.2018, wherein this Court passed the following order: 'It is made quite clear that the pendency of the present writ petition will not preclude the respondents 1 and 2 to inspect the pattai poramboke land in Survey No.10/1D at Arakandapuram Village, Kandachipuram Taluk, Villupuram to Thirukovilur High Road, Villupuram District and to take necessary steps in case they come to the conclusion that the third respondent, has made encroachment in the said Poramboke Land.'

2.Today learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that now Section 7 Notice under the Land Encroachment Act has been served on the third respondent in the writ petition and a copy of the same has also been served on the petitioner and the second respondent has initiated steps to remove the encroachment. He has also produced a copy of the Section 7 notice served 2/3

on the parties. Learned Special Government Pleader further submitted that the respondents would proceed with the eviction process and complete the same at the earliest. 3.In view of the present scenario, nothing further survives for adjudication in this petition. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
