This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 02.03.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is seen that this petitioner had given money to one Sasikumar and after having received the money, the said Sasikumar did not repay the amount as assured, but had given certain cheques as security. Thereafter, the petitioner has gone to Nagercoil, where the transaction has taken place with Sasikumar and has lodged a complaint before the Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. Pursuant to which, examinations under Section 161 Cr.P.C. recorded. The said Sasikumar also obtained anticipatory bail before the Sessions Court, Kanyakumari in Crl.M.P.No.2996 of 2016. While so, the petitioner returned to Chennai and lodged a fresh https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
complaint dated 02.03.2016, wherein, the petitioner alleged that the said Sasikumar had confiscated the cheques and manhandled her.
4. On reading of the complaint dated 02.03.2016, the petitioner has not even given the date on which, the said incident took place and there is no significance in the said complaint. Under such circumstances, direction as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedies in the manner known to law.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
