[Order of the Court was made by Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J.] The petition has been filed seeking condonation of a delay of 53 days in filing the CMA against the decreetal order passed in O.P.No.49 of 2014, dated 28.03.2025. The appeal is preferred by the respondent/wife, being aggrieved by the decree of dissolution of marriage granted on the ground of cruelty.

2. While preferring the appeal, the delay is explained in the affidavit accompanying the petition.

3. The reason for the delay, as stated, is that the the appellant, presently residing in Hyderabad, was unable to contact her counsel and provide necessary instructions for preferring the appeal before this Court.

4. Since the reason stated is found to be justifiable, the application seeking condonation of delay is allowed.
