This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register FIR based on the complaint dated 15.11.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 15.11.2015, it is seen that the petitioner has not even stated the date on which he is said to have given money to the opposite party. The entire prosecution essentially appears to be civil in nature. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the police to register an FIR. Accordingly, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
