This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register First Information Report based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.03.2016. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police; on the said complaint, the petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R. No.83 of 2016 and the petitioner is not cooperating in the enquiry. 4.

Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [(2014) 4 SCC 1], https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

otherwise, the petition may be closed under due intimation to the petitioner.
