The petitioner who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) and 307 of IPC in Crime No.313 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to land dispute, there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant's husband. It is also alleged that the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant's husband with wooden log and stones and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that due to land dispute, there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant' husband. The petitioner attacked the defacto complainant's husband with wooden log and stone and caused grievous

injuries. He would further submit that the injured has suffered 82 stitches on his head. He also submitted that the earlier this Court had dismissed the anticipatory bail petitions filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P. No. 18376 of 2022 and 21493 of 2022 dated 10.08.2022 and 08.09.2022 respectively. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the bad antecedents of the petitioners, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case and further this is the third anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner and that there is no change of circumstances. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 20.10.2022 Lpp
