ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's peaceful conduct of business, ie., cross massage in the name and style of "GREEN LEAF UNISEX SALON & SPA" at New No.9, Old No.3/2, Gulam Abbas Alikhan 4th Street, Model School Road, Thousand Lights, Chennai-600 006.

2.When this writ petition came up before this Court on 03.11.2016, the learned Government Advocate took notice for the respondents, and he was directed to get instructions as to whether there is any Ayurvedic Centre in the address where the business is said to have been carried out and whether any license had been obtained for the same. Today, the learned Government Advocate produced the report of the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

police and submitted that the petitioner had obtained license only for Healthcare and not for Spa, and that the license for Spa has to be separately obtained. It is also stated that no case has been filed before the jurisdictional Police Station, in respect of the Ayurvedic Centre in question.

3.Since no license has been obtained for running Spa, the prayer of the petitioner cannot be granted and accordingly the writ petition is dismissed, of course with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Corporation, for getting license for running Spa. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
