The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer O.P. No.16 of 2024 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Neyveli to the Family Court, Chennai.

2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- (i) The petitioner/wife along with her son is residing with her parents in Chennai.

(ii) The distance between the present residence of the petitioner/wife to the Subordinate Court, Neyveli is more than 260 kms.

(iii) The respondent/husband is employed in Chennai.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. In the above circumstances, the request for transfer appears reasonable. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and O.P. No.16 of 2024 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Neyveli is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. The presence of the respondent/husband 2/4

before the Family Court, Chennai is dispensed with on all hearings except for adducing evidence and for counseling. No costs.
