The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Section 6

(4) TNSC RDCS 1982 r/w 7 (1) (a) (i) E.C.Act, 1955 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Learned Government Advocate [Criminal side] submitted that there is no petition enquiry pending nor a case registered against the petitioner.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate [Criminal side], this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
