Prayer: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the appeals preferred by the petitioners dated 10.06.2019 and 12.06.2019 within reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal.

3.In W.P.No.27929 of 2019, the case of the petitioner is that he entered the service as Office Assistant in the year 1990. In the year 2015, the petitioner was promoted as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Superintendent. In W.P.No.27930 of 2019, the petitioner entered the service as Junior Assistant. In the year 2016, she was promoted as Manager. Both the petitioners were proceeded with departmental enquiry by issuing a charge memo in the year 2016. Thereafter, the petitioners submitted their explanation in the year 2017 denying the charges. However, the management imposed a major punishment of dismissal from service on 30.04.2019. As against the said order of dismissal, the petitioners have preferred statutory appeals before the respondent, the appellate authority on 10.06.2019 and 12.06.2019 respectively. However, the said appeals were not disposed of till date. Hence, these writ petitions.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioners' appeals dated 10.06.2019 and 12.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners' appeals dated 10.06.2019 and 12.06.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
