ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.121 of 2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karaikal stating that the petitioner has nothing to do with the commission of offence and it is only a sheer abuse of process of Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the petitioner has come forward with this petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.121 of 2013, he sought for early disposal of the case and also dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioner.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karaikal is directed to dispose the case in C.C.No.121 of 2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Trial Judge is also directed to consider the petition filed by the petitioner/accused to dispense with his personal appearance and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner/accused is directed to appear before the Court when the learned Trial Judge directs.
