This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 301 days in filing the criminal appeal as against Judgment dated 24.06.2024 passed in STC No.4762 of 2022 on the file of XIX Metropolitan Magistrate Court Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Though notice to the respondent was served, there is no appearance on behalf of the respondent, either through learned counsel or in-person.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 301 days is condoned and the petition is ordered.
