The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.8/AC/2008, C.C.V, dated 19.12.2008, on the file of the respondent Police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the case in Crime No.8/AC/2008, C.C.V. was registered on 19.12.2008. Subsequently, the respondent Police, after completion of investigation, has closed the case as further action dropped on 12.08.2011. Further, the petitioner is not arrayed as an accused in the case in Crime No.8/AC/2008, C.C.V.
