This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 11.01.2023 made in W.P.No.772 of 2023. 1 / 4

2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Murali, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the orders of this Court has been complied with and in support of his contention, he has produced a copy of the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Central Chennai Division dated 04.10.2023, whereby the RDO has rejected the plea of the petitioner seeking grant of patta and making mutation of the revenue records.

3. Since the direction issued by this Court is to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass orders on merits, and that has been considered and decided, of course on merits, the orders of this Court has been complied with. Hence, no further persuasive action is required in this contempt petition. The contempt petition is closed.
