This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to issue suitable direction to the fourth respondent to take appropriate action to implement the notice dated 13.06.2017 and to secure and safeguard the property belonging to the Temples of respondents 11 and 12 on the basis of petitioner's representations dated 19.09.2016 and 04.07.2017.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the is a Hindu devotee and as the Founder and President of Thiruthondargal Sabai made representation dated 04.07.2017 to the Chief Minister Cell seeking to conduct inspection and find out the 3/6
status of the entire properties belonging to the Arulmigu Sabanayagar Temple, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District nearby Karaikal District and the Chief Minister Cell forwarded the representation to the fourth respondent/ District Collector and the fourth respondent issued notice dated 13.06.2017 calling for the concerned Authorities to participate in the meeting on 28.06.2017 with relevant details, however, till date no action was taken.
3.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 4, 5 and 10 to conduct enquiry and take immediate steps to resume the entire properties belonging to Arulmigu Sabanayagar Temple, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District nearby Karaikal District and such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
