Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachment made by respondents 5 to 7 in Government Land comprised in Survey Nos.207/1, 208/1 and 209/1 situated at Kaveripuram Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2023.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Prabhakaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4.

2. Learned State Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submits that the Authorities would survey the land and after the survey report is received, further action would be undertaken, in accordance with law, in tune with the survey report.
