ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 23.09.2015, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.305 of 2016, has been registered by the Inspector of Police, Thiruthuraipoondi Police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Station, Thiruvarur District, for "man missing" and the same is under enquiry. Thereafter, on the point of jurisdiction, the case in Crime No.305 of 2016 has been transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, Saravanampatti Police Station, Coimbatore District, under due intimation to the petitioner.

4. Under such circumstances, the third respondent-Police is directed to keep the petitioner informed about the developments if any, with regard to the missing man.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
