The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Sub Judge, Alandur to expedite the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.367 of 2023 filed by the petitioner for dissolution of marriage. 1/3

2. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that a counter in H.M.O.P.No.367 of 2023 was filed by the respondent on 20.09.2024 and thereafter, there is no substantial progress in the main original petition.

3. Taking into consideration the divorce petition was filed in the year 2023 and pleadings were completed on 20.09.2024 itself, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Sub Judge, Alandur to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.367 of 2023, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
