This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking relief to call for the records in FIR No.15 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as illegal. 2.

Mr.P.Saravan Sowmiyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police and Mr.A.Ramaswamy, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent are present.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also filed a memo to that effect. The said memo is recorded. 4.

Hence in view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
