ORDER

This Crl.O.P. is filed by the petitioner to call for the records and to quash the proceedings in PRC.No.176 of 2021 on the file of the Learned VI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai as against the Petitioner.

2. Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submits that this case is squarely covered by the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 12.12.2012 in the case of Alister Anthony Pareira vs. State of Maharashtra reported in (2012) 2 SCC 648 and the same is produced before this Court.

3. Acceding the submission of learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and by following the ratio laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Alister Anthony Pareira (supra), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
