The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 06.03.2015.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was already registered in Crime No.482 of 2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 120(b), 419 and 420 I.P.C. Now, the First Information Report is also pending with the Inspector of Police, CCIW, Coimbatore.

3. Since a case was already registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the prayer that has been made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
