ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider (or) dispose the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 to issue the petitioner's Higher Secondary Course Mark Sheet for the English subject passed in the year 1996 and consequently direct the respondent to issue the said Mark Sheet to English Subject to the petitioner within stipulated time.
2. Mrs.E.Ranganayaki, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, he had completed his higher secondary course in the year 1997 with two arrears viz., English and Physics at Goodlet Higher Secondary School, Sholinghur. On 31.03.2023, he came to know that he had lost the mark sheets, thereby, he lodged a complaint to the concerned police station regarding loss of his mark sheet and received lost document report dated 11.04.2023 from the concerned Page No.2 of 4
police station. On 02.05.2023, he have applied to the respondent and requested to issue a duplicate copy of the higher secondary course mark sheets for two duplicate copy of the higher secondary course mark sheets for two subjects viz., English and Physics, which he passed out in the year 1996 and 1997. Pursuant to which, he had received only of the mark sheet with regard to physics subject only and further, the mark sheet with regard to English subject not received so far, therefore, he sent a representation dated 23.07.2024 to the respondent to issue mark sheet for English subject passed in the year 1996. Despite the service, the said representation was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this court for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court, issues a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
