O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2019 regarding issuance of patta in respect of 220 sq.ft of residential land in S.No.913/1 Pichanur Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent was directed to ascertain the status of the representation given by the petitioner to the respondent and report. Accordingly, the respondent has filed a Status Report stating that Town S.No.913 total extent of 52 square metre is classified as Municipal Street in the Gudiyatham Municipal Town Survey Register and it is a pathway to the Public of R.S.Nagar, Adi Dravidar Colony for years together. Hence, house site patta cannot be issued.

3. Regarding the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry has been initiated and the petitioner has participated in the enquiry on 30.10.2019 and the documents produced by the petitioner appear to be not genuine. Hence, after verifying the documents, appropriate orders will be passed.

4. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
