This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent authority to pay the medical expenses with interest by disposing of the petitioner's representation, dated 15.06.2023, within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that she underwent treatment in Kauvery Hospital in the year 2022 and she had incurred a sum of Rs.2,09,871/- as medical expenses. The petitioner submitted a representation to the 3rd respondent along with requisite documents for reimbursement of her medical expenses. It is the grievance of the petitioner that, despite recommendation by the 4th respondent vide proceedings dated 28.11.2022, no action has been taken by the 3rd respondent so far. The petitioner has once again submitted a
representation, dated 15.06.2023, to the 3rd respondent, however, even the same was not considered. Hence, the writ.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.S.Arumugham, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1, 2 and 4.
4.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.06.2023, on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
