Heard Mr.K.Balu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.A.Sri Jayanthi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.Since the petitioner has not impleaded the person in whose favour the patta has been issued, he cannot seek for cancellation of the patta. At this juncture, no direction can be issued in this writ petition as sought for by the petitioner. However, if any application is pending before the authority, the authority shall take action in accordance with law and dispose of the same after notice to all the parties concerned. 3.With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
