A Criminal Miscellaneous Petition in Crl.M.P.No. 4144 of 2021 was filed by the Revision Petitioner/Complainant to amend the correct name as "Rani" instead of "Rami" and that petition was not disposed of by the trial judge and the same was adjourned on various dates. E-court status also filed to that effect.
2. As the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner only seeking for a direction to speedy disposal, the notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
3. On seeing the facts and on perusal of records, it would reveals that from the year of 2021, the said application is pending before the trial court without any progress, however, after all, the matter is pending for amending the name of 2nd respondent. Hence, the reasons assigned by the Revision Petitioner is justifiable one. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Addl. Mahila Judge (Magisterial Level), 2/4
Chengalpattu to dispose the Crl.M.P.No.4144 of 2021 in D.V.C.No.4 of 2016 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and also directed to dispose the D.V.C. proceedings on merit within a period of three months. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
