ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2017 for police protection to the petitioner and pass orders on the same within a reasonable time.

2. The Petitioner seeks police protection to the Society, Virudhachalam Integrated Ceramic Self-Help Group Society and to carry its activities. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Criminal Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
