Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioners' application dated 30.09.2022 and reminder dated 05.07.2023 and thereby direct the respondents to grant planning permission to the petitioner to construct a house in Plot bearing No.37, "Varalakshmi Nagar"comprised in Survey No.127/55, in Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District, measuring an extent of 2400 Sq.ft., without insisting no objection certificate from the 4th respondent.

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider their online application dated 30.09.2022 seeking planning permission to construct a building in Plot No.37, Varalakshmi Nagar situated in Survey No.127/55, in Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District. 2.The main grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is though they submitted their online application seeking planning permission for construction of building as early as 30.09.2022, the respondents have not considered the same till date.

3.Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned Standing Counsel (GCC) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the application of the petitioners will be considered on merits and orders will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the stand taken by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the online application submitted by the petitioners dated 30.09.2022 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
