The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Section 108, 296(b) of BNS and r/w Section 194 of BNS, 2023 in Crime No. 382 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that defacto complainant's husband and her mother in law committed suicide at their residence in Pernampet. Prior to this miserable incident, on 05.06.2024 several staffs from Navachatiram Private Finance Limited had visited the defacto complainant's house and demanded to repay the loan amount by using filthy language against the defacto complainant's husband. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. However, on instructions, the learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may 1/3

be imposed by this Court and he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the several staffs from Navachatiram Private Finance Limited had visited the defacto complainant's house and demanded to repay the loan amount by using filthy language against the defacto complainant's husband. Due to which defacto complainant's husband and her mother in law committed suicide at their residence in Pernampet and further, considering the gravity of offence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.

Considering the representations made by both sides and considering the nature of offences charged against the petitioner and considering that investigation is at initial stage and also offenses are grave in nature, this Court is declined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
