Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the respondents to register the case on the complaint filed by the petitioner before the Respondents Police on 07.12.2021 and proceed as per law within a time frame.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the First Information Report based on the complaint given by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner, who claims to be working as a Public Relations Assistant, has given a complaint against the superiors and the same has been received by the respondents. Even though the complaint has been given as early as on 07.12.2021, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Pondy), on instructions, submitted that on receipt of the complaint sent by the petitioner, the Vigilence Department conducted preliminary enquiry and based on the report of the preliminary enquiry, further action will be taken.

4. Considering the above submission, the respondents are directed to take further action based on the enquiry report and complete the same within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
