O R D E R
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide water supply connection to the petitioner's premises by considering her representation dated 07.07.2023 within a time frame.
2. Mrs.K.Vasanthamala, learned Standing Counsel for CMWSSB takes notice for the respondents.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she is a joint owner along with one Kotteswaran of the building bearing Old No.22/2, New No.45, Thiruveedhi Amman Koil Street, Aminjikarai Village, Chennai. It is stated that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and one Rajendran regarding common passage leading to her building in O.S.No.6081 of 2018 on the file of the XIII Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner by taking this 2/6
Court to the e-court print out enclosed in the typed-set of papers, submitted that the suit was dismissed as abated on 01.09.2023. The petitioner appeared to have submitted a representation dated 07.07.2023 before the respondents requesting them to provide water supply connection.

It is the case of the petitioner that she paid the entire applicable charges for providing water supply connection to the petitioner's premises and inspite of the same, the respondents failed to consider the request of the petitioner for providing water supply connection. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.
6. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner for water supply connection will be considered by the official respondents in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.
7. In view of the stand taken by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to 3/6
consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
8. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
