By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. 1/4

2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pass an order of appointment to the petitioner herein for any suitable post on compassionate ground, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 30.11.2021.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father and mother died. It is the further submission of the petitioner that the petitioner's father, who had worked under the respondent died on 28.08.2011 and immediately, within a period of three years, the petitioner's grandmother had given an application for compassionate appointment and after this petitioner attains majority, he has also given a representation to the 1st respondent on 30.05.2023 and such application is pending before the 1st respondent.

5. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that they will consider the petitioner's 2/4

representation according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2023 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
