This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.1440 of 2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, Mr.V.Tamilvanan, Inspector of Police, K-9, Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar Police Station, Chennai is present before this Court.

4. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.1440 of 2014 is almost complete and seeks two months time to file final report.

5. Accepting his submission, two months time is granted to the respondent Police to file final report or closure report as the case may be, expeditiously before the jurisdictional Magistrate, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
