Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the respondents 4 to 22 in the school premises situated in S.No.101/2, Ramanaickenpalayam Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District to the extent of 2.50 acres by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 11.12.2015 within a stipulated time as this Hon'ble Court fixes.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner having made the allegation of encroachment of school land in the year 2009 has kept silent for six years before re-starting the process vide the representation dated 11.12.2015. The petitioner having slept over the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the petition at the behest of the petitioner.

2. However, in so far as the aspect of any encroachment on school land is concerned, it is expected that the concerned authorities will carry out an inspection and if the encroachment is found, to take action in accordance with law within a maximum period of three months of the receipt of the copy of this order.

3. The writ petition is dismissed with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
