PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records in Na.Ka.No.278/2014 dated 29/4/2015 and 21/5/2015 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and direct the second respondent to accept the stamp duty paid for Document No.2939/2015 at the time of registration as proper and correct by considering the representation dated 5/4/2016 by reconsidering the additional stamp duty arrived by the second respondent as illegal and violative of principles of natural justice and contrary to Section 47 A of the Stamp Act read with Tamil Nadu Stamps (Prevention of Under Valuation of Instrument) Rules, 1968.

This writ petition has been filed to quash the order of the second respondent dated 29/4/2015 and 21/5/2015 and direct the second respondent to accept the stamp duty paid for Document No.2939/2015 at the time of Page No:2/4

registration as proper and correct by considering the representation dated 5/4/2016 by reconsidering the additional stamp duty arrived by the second respondent as illegal and violative of principles of natural justice and contrary to Section 47 A of the Stamp Act read with Tamil Nadu Stamps (Prevention of Under Valuation of Instrument) Rules, 1968.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
