Mr.U.Bharanidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 05.09.2022 by measuring an demarcating his land in extent 0.20.50 acre S.No.60/7A2 and 60/7A4 Paniyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the permanent resident of Paniyur Village and doing agriculture works. He is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the property in Old Survey No.60/7 New Survery No.60/7A2 measuring to an extent of 0.20.50 Acre situated at Paniyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. The second respondent has 2/5
issued Patta No.2748 in respect of the said property in the name of petitioner. While so, the petitioner decided to put up a construction around his property in order to protect the same from theft and to avoid any dispute with the neighbour regarding the boundary. So, he gave an application dated 05.09.2022 to the second respondent, seeking to measure and demarcate his land so as to enable him to locate his property according to the Revenue Records, for which, he has paid necessary charges to the respondents. However, till date, the second respondent has not yet considered his application. Hence, left with no other alternative, he has filed the present writ petition before this Court for the relief stated supra.
4. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.09.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
