This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 170 days in paying the deficit court fee.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. Considering the submissions made and the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, on payment of cost.

4. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 17.10.2024.

5. If the cost is not paid on or before 17.10.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without further reference to this Court.
