Mr.D.Raghu COMMON ORDER When these Contempt Petitions were taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the respondent has paid the retiral benefits to the petitioners and accordingly, complied with the order of this Court dated 25.07.2016 passed in W.P.Nos.25740 & 25739 of 2016.

2.Conceding the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the retiral benefits have been settled belatedly and hence, the petitioners may be permitted to make representations to the respondent seeking interest for the delayed period.

3.Recording the above, these contempt petitions stand closed. However, the petitioners are directed to submit representations seeking interest for the delayed period of retiral benefits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representations, the 2/3

respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
