ORDER

Challenging the case in Crime No.52 of 2021 pending on the file of the 1st respondent, the present criminal original petition has been filed. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in this case, this Court has granted interim stay of further proceedings in Crime No.52 of 2021. However, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed the final report.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submits that the interim stay has been granted but it has not been periodically extended further. In any event, now having completed the investigation, the final report filed and the same was taken cognizance by the Additional Mahila Court, Ariyalur, on 21.04.2022 in C.C.No.345 of 2022.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
