The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent 1/4

C.S.R.No.636 of 2024 has been registered on 12.09.2024 and the petitioner is called for enquiry.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, per contra, states that the deceased husband of the petitioner was the erstwhile partner of the defacto complainant and on his intention to extract money, a false complaint been given. Since the husband of the petitioner dead, the police is pressurizing her to pay a sum of Rs.60 lakhs to the 3rd respondent.

Since the matter is apparently a civil dispute, the respondent police is hereby directed not to interfere in the civil dispute, unless and until there is element of any commission of cognizable offence made out in the complaint. Accordingly, Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 13.09.2024 Index : Yes/No rpl 2/4
