This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 166 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the judgment dated 08.11.2022 passed in S.C. No.69/2021 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Cuddalore.
2. Mr. S. Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent, did not raise any serious objection and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
