Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent Authority to measure the petitioner's property, being plot No.67, measuring 0.01.0 ares, comprised in S.No.20, Perumbakkam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District and lay boundary stone upon considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2017 within such time as may be stipulated by the Court.

ORDER

Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking consideration of representation dated 03.02.2017, which representation was given seeking measurement of the property of the petitioner in plot No.67 measuring 0.01.0 acres in S.No.20, Perumbakkam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District and also to lay boundary stones.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the said land was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

allotted to her by assignment order dated 27.03.2015 and it is also stated that subsequent to the assignment there was an obligation on the respondent to put boundary stones, since possession had not been handed over. She had given a representation on 03.02.2017.

4. It is not known whether from that date onwards till this date owing to passage of four years, the representation has actually been complied with by the respondent. If it had not been done, then a request is placed on the petitioner to place a fresh copy of the said representation to the respondent and on furnishing of such a fresh copy of the representation, the respondent may examine the said representation and pass necessary orders within a period of 12 weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs.
