The petitioners/A1 and A2 herein seek bail in Crime No.26 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 174 of Cr.P.C. and subsequently altered into sections.109,120-B, 302 and 365 of IPC.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case in Crime No.26 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 174 of Cr.P.C. and subsequently altered into sections.109,120-B, 302 and 365 of IPC. Thus, he seeks bail to the petitioners.

3. The case of the prosecution is that son of the defacto-complainant was found dead in Veeranam Yeri. The defacto-complainant's son was married and having three children. It is stated that her son frequently quarrelled with his wife. On 16.03.2023 the son of the defacto complainant stated that he was driving a car for hire purpose, but was subsequently found dead. On investigation, it was found that the wife of defacto complainant's son was having illicit relationship with the first accused and therefore, she and other accused conspired together and forcefully thrown him in the Veeranam Lake.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) stated that, 1/3

investigation has been completed and final report has been filed and learned Judicial Magistrate, Kattumannarkoil has taken cognizance of the final report in P.R.C.No.11/2023. Thus, he prays for dismissal of this petition.

5. In view of the circumstances stated, the issue of bail cannot be considered for the present. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petitions stand dismissed. 06.10.2023 gvn/gd C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
