This petition had been filed challenging the order passed by the Court below dismissing the application filed by the petitioner in CMP No.21040 of 2023, seeking for extension of time for furnishing sureties as per the order passed in Crl MP No.18824 of 2023 dated 04.08.2022. 2.

Heard Mr.V.Karthick, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent. 3.

The petitioner apprehended arrest by the respondent police in Crime No.342 of 2022 for the alleged offence under Section 465, 467, 468, 471, 420, 506(i) of IPC. The petitioner therefore filed an Anticipatory bail petition before the Court below in Crl MP No.18824 of 2023. The learned Principal Sessions Judge by order dated 04.08.2023 granted anticipatory bail by imposing certain conditions. 4.

The petitioner was not able to furnish the sureties within the time prescribed by the Court below and hence, filed an application 2/4

seeking for extension of time. The said application came to be dismissed by the Court below and aggrieved by the same, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Court within a period of one week from today and comply with all the conditions imposed by the Court below while granting anticipatory bail. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted. 6.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
