By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2021 and pass orders.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's Trust is running a school and the subject property which is adjacent to the school is a Government poromboke land and some anti social elements are carrying out immoral and illegal activities in the said land which causes disturbance to the school going students and the staff members of the school. Hence the petitioner seeks to enter into a lease agreement with regard to the subject property and in this regard he has given a representation to the second respondent on 17.09.2021. However the same was not considered. Hence this petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2021 and pass orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2021 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
