in Cont.P. No. 217 of 2024 T.V. THAMILSELVI, J.
This petition has been filed seeking to reopen the above Contempt Petition, which was closed by this court on 03.09.2024.
2. Ms.K.Sumathi, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the above Contempt Petition was closed, since there was a settlement talk going on between the parties. She would submit that as they had a meeting convened between them in the presence of their counsels to discuss and find out whether all their issues pending before this court as well as lower court can be solved amicably, both counsels have sought an adjournment. However, this court closed the above petition. They have sought adjournment on that day is neither willful nor wanton, but due to the bonafide reason stated above. Hence, she has filed the above petition to reopen the above Contempt Petition.
3. Mr. S.Surya, learned counsel for respondent appeared and submitted that he has no objection in allowing the above application.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances, and being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition seeking to reopen the Contempt Petition, this Court is inclined to allow this petition and to reopen the above Contempt Petition.
