ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent, to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.1,39,704/- (Rupees One Lakh Thirty Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Four only), together with interest at 18% per annum on Rs.1,39,704/-, covered under the invoices mentioned in the schedule to the petition, within a time to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner is engaged in the field of advertisement agency accredited and recognized with good reputation. While being so, the first respondent placed an order in favour of the petitioner to publish the advertisement in the specified Tamil dailies in respect of auction. Accordingly, the petitioner published the contents which were sent by the first respondent in the specified Tamil dailies and on specified date. Thereafter, the petitioner raised invoices to the tune of Rs.1,39,704/-. However, it was not cleared so far. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation and the same is pending without consideration.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to disburse a sum of Rs.1,39,704/- to the petitioner with interest at the rate of 6% p.a as per the invoices raised by the petitioner dated 02.03.2022, 17.12.2022, 17.12.2022 and 14.01.2023, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
